orhh i was just reading the profiles right, and.. lala's a frigging pro minesweeper player! hahahah. aiyah aiyah. i remember last time i was playing with some math genius in my class. as in the seriously bona fide GENIUS gep kid instead of the bottom of the class me, and i was trashed 0-4. but ytd i won lala 3 times in a row! and izzie 3 times also. but izzie won me once :c but nvm la since izzie's my friend. of course we must be pro hahaha.

JANELLE i'm not super emo on this blog caaan. i achieve nirvana already la i'm just like spreading the light amongst the ignorant angsty teenagers, caught up in the passionate flame of romantic puppy love. get my drift? hahaha. aiyaa.

and izzie my posts DO have a point! its just that i tend to sidetrack alot la but the main point is still there. i deal with issues in a very pragmatic way la and i prefer to deal with generalities and the big picture rather than touch on each specific details. told you already what imma humans student whaat. give a man to fish and he eats for a day. teach a man how to fish and you set him up for a lifetime. specfic examples are all well and good but they lack the flexibility and fluidity of a general guideline, which is just how my mind works la hahaha. what for be so static! instead of memorising a thousand thousand theoretical positions in chess, it would suffice to remember the underlying ideas and feel for the position, then making a move based on intuitive positional judgement.

yesterday i watched jenn come from 2 sets down to win 4-2 in the u18 tabletennis finals! hahaha its actually very inspiring.
